shinsekai yori is the best anime I’ve watched this year (I watch a lot of anime) and one of the greatest anime I’ve seen yet.
It starts off really cool and they’re all kids and its cute but then it gets really mind screwy and suddenly everybody grows up and becomes gay and then drama happens and then people start dying and naked mole rats … but no it’s really good if you stick with it to the end.
The ending was unexpectedly powerful and did a great job of wrapping the series up in a coherent conclusion. From the second to last episode I totally didn’t expect them to end that as well as they did. so props to kishi-san and the team down at A-1.
I highly recommend this series to everybody. I don’t care what genres you like. everybody has to watch this masterpiece.
